Sometimes podcast players will have issues showing new episodes. This can happen with any podcast and/or podcast player. If episodes are missing for you, here are a few steps you can try to force your podcast player to show new episodes of the Steve Dahl Podcast.
1. Check Your Subscription Status to Ensure It's Active
Log in to your Steve Dahl Podcast account and ensure your subscription is still active. Inactive subscriptions due to outdated credit cards, expired credit cards or accounts that have auto renewal turned off will stop showing new episodes.
- Login at https://www.dahl.com by clicking the Sign In button and then click on the "My Account" button in the navigation header.
- Click on the "Subscriptions" tab to see if your subscription says "Active."
- Update your credit card or pay to renew your membership, and then follow the steps listed below to refresh your feed.
2. Refresh Your Feed
Refreshing your podcast feed will depend on which podcast player you are using. Please follow the steps for your specific player below.
- Mobile Devices
- Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Castro, Castbox, RadioPublic
- Pull down on the screen and release to force a refresh.
- Pocket Casts (both iOS and Android)
- Click on the "Profile" navigation item, scroll to the bottom and click on "Refresh Now."
- YouTube Music
- Unsubscribe from the podcast in Google Music. Try re-subscribing in Google Music to refresh the feed. For instructions on how to add the Steve Dahl Podcast to Google Podcasts, visit this article.
- Apple Podcasts, Overcast, Castro, Castbox, RadioPublic
- Desktop Computer
- Apple Podcasts
- Click on "File > Refresh Feeds."

3. Force Quit the Podcast App
If the above did not work for you, try quitting the app and then open it again. Note that simply closing the app will not work, as it will still be running in the background.
- Quit app on iOS
- First, swipe up from the bottom of the screen until your list of open apps appears.
- Swipe up on your podcast app to force it to quit.
- Try launching your podcast app again from your Home Screen.
- Quit app on Android
- Due to the number of differences between Android devices, follow these steps to force close your podcast app on Android.
- After following these steps, try opening your podcast app again.
4. Delete the Steve Dahl Podcast and Resubscribe
If you still do not see new episodes, remove the Steve Dahl Podcast from your podcast player completely by deleting it. Removing the podcast depends on your podcast player.
- Generally, you can remove the podcast by swiping to the left on the podcast or by navigating to the podcast in your Library tab and then clicking the three dots icon to bring up more options. You should then see an option that says "Unsubscribe" or "Delete Podcast."

5. Use a Different Podcast Player to Resubscribe
- If all else fails, choose a different supported app for subscribing to the podcast.
