The Playhouse On Madison
I was so shocked by the Blackhawks performance on Saturday night that I decided not to process it at all. I’m just going to go into Game Two tonight with Matt Dahl, an open mind and a hopeful spirit. I wouldn’t mind seeing Adam Burish in the lineup, however, if Coach Q is interested in my opinion. I didn’t see the physical game that everybody was touting, and I think that Adam is a good way to get that started and keep it going. Also, if Bickell isn’t going to fight, put Eager or Fraser back in the lineup. Let’s shake it up a bit. Also, where the Hell was “Buffy the Vancouver slayer”? Look what I’ve done. Now I’m thinking about it. The puck drops tonight at 8:00 (8:15) and I will be in my seat ready to forgive and forget the travesty of Saturday night, where a bunch of grown men looked like pee wee hockey players in front of 23,000 beer swilling, Anthem cheering and totally bummed out fans. I can even drown my sorrows like everybody else with an alcoholic beverage. I did have to dial up my usual bottle of water to a United Center coffee for the third period. I might have well have done a gram of cocaine. Between the coffe and the angst of the game, I didn't fall asleep until 3:00 am.
