Hey, It's No Comcast SportsNet Sports Awards

Just finished watching the Espy Awards on ESPN. I thought that Seth Meyers and company did an excellent job. They were very funny. Will Ferrell impressed me coming off of a very weak showing Monday night during the Home Run Derby. I must admit, I got sports weepy several times during the evening, and almost hopped a plane to fly out to LA to find this woman that they call Brooklyn Decker. I was aware of her before, but she showed me something special during the Espys (LOL). I also enjoyed the fans in the Nokia Center booing LeBron James for some reason. Still a little shell-shocked from last weeks “The Decision”, I suppose. I afoundt it interesting that the black athletes and celebs seemed to laugh a heck of a lot more at the opening jokes than the white guys did. The jokes were funny but not always politically correct. The exception to that black/white thing was Stewart Scott. I know that Stew’s not a jock, but he’s a semi-celebrity, so you know what I mean. I always expect him to get all Sammy Davis Jr. with that glass eye and all. Booyah!
