I was scheduled (by myself) to go to the gym today to do some weight training, but I just had to take a run/walk outside. I am like Winnie The Poo, and I love blustery days. I’m still not sure why they called him Winnie The Poo, but I always took it to be a scatological reference. Something along the lines of “Does a bear Shit in the woods?” I wonder if any Chicago Bears have done that in their pants. I seem to remember a story or two. I’ll have to confirm with Tom Thayer the next time I talk to him. Tom is back in Hawaii and we have a very lovely conversation on Tuesday’s (5-4) DahlCast. He is in the midst of an island fire, and as you’ll hear on the podcast, I can relate. Tom’s brother Rick is partnered in another restaurant in downtown Joliet (in addition to the Thayer Brothers Deli and Grill on Ruby street). The new place is called 158 North.
